Course Progress: How Do I Move from One Page to Another in the Course?

The course material is presented sequentially, therefore you will need to begin with the first unit and work through each successive unit until you reach the final exam. Each unit contains an internal timer that must run down before you can progress to the next unit. The length of time you will be required to spend on each page is determined by the amount of material on the page or the length of a video contained in a particular page. After the timer for a unit has run down, you can advance to the next unit by clicking on the "Next" link found at the top and bottom of each page.

Once you have completed a page, you can always go back to it by clicking on the page number, which is found in the "Jump to Page" link located at the top and bottom of each page of the course. By clicking on the links marked "Back to Sections," you can access the index page for the course. From this page, you can return to any units that have been completed previously.

Final Exam: What Score Is Required to Pass the Final Exam?

After you have completed all six units of the course, you will be able to access to the 20 question final exam. In order to pass the exam, you must receive a score of at least 70%, which means that you can miss no more than six questions.
You will be given three opportunities to take the final exam, at no additional charge. If you do not pass the exam upon your first three attempts, you will be prompted to call our office (800) 558-9887 in order to re-register.

Course Progress: Does the Course Have To Be Completed in One Sitting?
No, you can spend as much time on the course as you wish. Because you receive a unique login name when you register for the course, you will be able to access the course from any computer that allows you to browse the Internet. Your course progress is updated automatically after you complete each page of the course, therefore you will be able to log out of the course at one computer and pick up where you left off at another computer. If you wish to leave the course at any time, simply log out, and log in again when you are ready to resume your work. You can spend hours, days, or even weeks on the course, but please keep in mind that your certificate will need to be turned in to the appropriate authority by the court mandated completion date.
Course Location: Do I Have to Attend Traffic School in the County that Issued My Citation?

The good news is that you can complete the course from any location - wherever you can find a computer with access to the Internet! You can log into and out of the course whenever you wish and you will not even need to leave the security and convenience of your home or office. Although you can take the course anywhere, your completion certificate will need to be shown to the appropriate authority, such as the court that directed you to attend a driving safety course on or before your court specified completion date. We recommend that you make a copy of your signed certificate and hand deliver it to the court clerk’s office, so there is no risk of the certificate being lost or misplaced. Otherwise, you can also mail your certificate to the court, but we suggest sending it registered mail with a return receipt requested, thus you can determine who accepted it and the exact date that it was received by the court.

Video Problems: What can I do if the videos won’t play?

There is a video test page prior to getting into the course that is set up to ensure that your computer is set up to successfully play all course material. Once inside the course, there is a green “Video Troubleshooting” button on each video page that provides a step by step process for solving most video related problems. Typically if the video does not play it is because you do not have the latest version of the Macromedia Flash Player, which you will receive on the test page or on the troubleshooting page. Also it is important to know that a faster computer will play Flash content faster. A fast connection to the internet will enable Flash content to be downloaded to your computer more quickly. For best performance, close all other applications other than the web browser with the Ticketschool.com course while viewing Flash content.
