The two-part certificate of completion contains an upper portion for the "COURT" and the lower portion is for "INSURANCE." For ticket dismissal, copy the "Court" portion and present it to the court via their instructions. For insurance discounts of up to 10%, present the "insurance" portion to your insurance company or agent.
NOTE: Customers who select "Insurance Reduction" as their reason for attendance will receive a single insurance-only certificate for presentation to their insurance provider. |
| |
You may choose to complete this course of instruction to qualify for a 3-year, 10% insurance discount. In order to receive this discount, you will need to present the second part of your certificate of completion (labeled "INSURANCE") to your insurance carrier. We recommend that you contact your insurance agent to determine their procedures and your eligibility for the discount. |

The course contains six units and a final exam that must be completed one after the other. The required time for each page is different and is based on the amount of material or the video playing time for that page. In the upper left hand corner of each page, a countdown timer will show the amount of time you must spend on the page. Once this timer has counted down to zero, you can advance by clicking on the "Next Page" link found at the top and bottom of each page.
NOTE: If you reach the end of a page before the timer counts down to zero, please be patient and wait for the timer to run down. We cannot adjust the page timers to allow you to move faster through the course!
Once you have completed a page, you can return to it by clicking on the page number, which is found in the "Jump to Page" link located at the top and bottom of each page. You can return to any previously completed units by clicking on the "Back to Sections" link. |
| |
After you have completed all six units of the course, you will be required to pass the final exam (20 multiple choice questions). In order to pass, you must answer at least 70% of the questions correctly, meaning that you may miss no more than six questions. If you do not pass on the first attempt, you will be given two more opportunities to pass at no additional charge.
Fewer than 1% of our Texas students fail to pass the final exam after three attempts, but if this does happen, you will be prompted to call our office at (800) 558-9887 and re-register. You will then need to take the course again and pass the final exam in order to receive a certificate of completion. |

No. Using the login code you received during registration, you can log in and out of the course at any time from any computer with Internet access. You do not have to worry about losing any of your work because you will be returned to the last page you were working on when you log back into the course. Your login code is good for as long as you need it, but please keep your court deadline in mind if you are taking the course for a traffic ticket. |

No, you can complete the course from any location -- wherever you can find a computer with access to the Internet! You can log into and out of the course whenever you wish and you will not even need to leave the security and convenience of your home or office.
Although you can take the course anywhere, your completion certificate will need to be shown to the appropriate authority, such as the court that directed you to attend a driving safety course, on or before your court specified completion date. We recommend that you make a copy of your signed certificate and hand deliver it to the court clerk’s office, so there is no risk of the certificate being lost or misplaced. Otherwise, you can mail your certificate to the court, but we suggest sending it registered mail with a return receipt requested so that you will know who accepted it and the exact date that it was received by the court. |

Before you start the course, our video test page will check to make sure that your computer is set up correctly to play Flash video movies. Every course page that contains video will display a green "Video Troubleshooting" button that provides step by step instructions for solving most video related problems. Typically, if the video does not play it is because you do not have the latest version of the Macromedia Flash Player, which can be installed easily from the test page or the troubleshooting page.
Please be aware that a faster computer will result in smoother playback of Flash content. Also, a fast connection to the internet will enable Flash content to be downloaded to your computer more quickly. For best performance, close all applications besides your web browser when you are viewing Flash content.

If you are still having video related problems after following all steps of the Video Troubleshooting Guide, please contact customer service at (800) 558-9887. |

This requirement is not necessary for online course providers since there is not an instructor teaching the course in a live environment. Simply notify the court that you completed the course online, making the instructor signature not applicable. Should the court have any questions about your course completion, request that they call our certificate processing office at (281) 494-2088. |
