You can take this course if you have elected to attend or have been court ordered to attend an eight-hour defensive driving program in Florida. Our course is accepted by all 67 Florida counties.

Elective (Voluntary) IDI Course Attendance

Florida drivers who complete a 4-hour traffic school course for point dismissal are not allowed to take the course again for another 12 months. However, in some Florida counties, a driver who has completed Florida traffic school and received a second ticket within 12 months will be given the option to take an Intermediate Driver Improvement course, also known as 8-hour traffic school.

Mandatory IDI Course Attendance

If a Florida judge or court has ordered you to attend an eight-hour traffic school course, you can take this online course. If you are not sure, check the administrative order you received from the court to determine what type of course you need, or call the Florida court that ordered you to attend the course.
